Robert N. Launie is a graduate of Boston College School of Arts & Sciences with a Political Science Degree and a graduate of New England School of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the United States Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Launie has been allowed to practice pro hoc vice in Connecticut, Florida, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
 
Mr. Launie is an experienced trial attorney who has been in private practice for over twenty years. Mr. Launie’s practice is focused on criminal and civil litigation including complex business litigation and licensing.  Mr. Launie also practices in the area of probate and family law.
 
Mr. Launie has successfully negotiated a thirty million dollar sale of a health services company and has advised principals in multimillion dollar real estate developments.  Mr.  Launie has served as private counsel to one of the principles as well as outside counsel for one of the largest construction equipment rental companies in the nation.
 
Mr. Launie has appeared on Dateline NBC, 48 Hours, Nightline, Chronicle and Fox TV News as an interview subject and has commentated for Court TV. Mr. Launie has also been a guest speaker at the Massachusetts School of Law on Juvenile Justice.
